Fashion Friday: Classic

I have always considered myself to be more of a classic kind of gal. I love to dress in mostly neutrals- and my fashion mentors consist of Audrey Hepburn, Jaqueline Kennedy & Grace Kelly (hence the name of this blog). My mother is also more of a classic woman. She is a beauty- when I think of her I instantly see her wearing a classic LDB, classically tailored suits, a crisp white tee and jeans(like another one of my fave fashion mavens Princess Di).

Here is a modern twist on "le classic jeans & tee" combo. A hot pink sleeveless top and a boyfriend jean- balanced out with a hot wedge, tortoise shell & of course a touch of nautical.

I think that look will turn some heads!

Picture Perfect

Our gallery wall in our kitchen is finally complete!

Two weeks ago I picked up woonden letters at the dollar store for $1.25 each, and painted them in a glossy black. I chose L&B- For me and my boys first initials of course!

Here is the end result- a fully finished wall that reflects our sense of whimsy, tradition, and life!

P.S. Should have cleared off the counter!! Whoops!
