I always look to Anthropologie for fun and quirky additions to spaces I am decorating. I only recently discovered the fabulous collection of wallpaper they carry. I don't believe we have it here in Canada, but I think you can order it online! I would love to use #6 in a powder room, #3 would be adorbs in a little girls nursery, #4 would be so much fun in a kitchen space with a rustic hipter lodge theme!! Which one is your fave??

Ikat Mini Bowls- Continued...

I purchased the Ikat Minis in Pink and Blue- Very pleased with the price, and the look, so pretty and chic. Here is a similar bowl by Nate Berkus, these bowls are gorgeous- they come in around $30 American Dollars, the others are from Anthropologie and come in around $10 CND! Not bad!!

Ikat Mini Bowls

Right now at Anthropologie they have these beautiful little dishes for $10 CND. They would be a great Christmsa gift, or a pretty gift for yourself to use to put your jewelery in, for dessert, or anything else you fancy!! They look even better in person- and the colors are gorgeous!!

Stella McCartney in the Country

Just when you though Stella McCartney couldn't get any chicer she decides to show us she is also living it up in the beautiful English Country side. When I was young my family owned a lovely home in Alexandria, Ontario. My Mom, would make large breakfasts, she would garden, we had a garden fully of lilac trees, peonies and wildflowers, we also had a sprawling vegetable garden that my parents would pluck food from and we would have gorgeous fresh fruits and veggies for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Oh the memories are great. I am a definite City dweller, but there is something about country living I will always hold dear. Now, knowing Miss Stella famous advocate like parents for being a vegetarian she probably gets her chef to make gourmet veg meals out of her garden, and if I were to guess inside that Teepee high tea is probably waiting!! New Kid On the Block

So my first week as an official resident of Toronto has come to an end. I have eaten some excellent food, purchased some beautiful flowers, and shopped at an amazing antique market- oh yeah and how could I forget to say that I came within 100 Meters of Justin Bieber at the Much Music Awards... Tea for Two

I am loving this Cockatoo Teapot. It is so much fun, I would love to serve tea from this lovely pot, or just have it as a show piece!! It's from Anthropologie- a little pricey though $88.00 CND!! Oh well I guess I am on the lookout now for a cute new Cockatoo teapot!
