Shantung Silk

We found a gorgeous Shantung Silk that I am going to use to recover the two chairs in our living room. Although I love the orange I think that this will provide a softer look, and I have been looking too add a pop of pink for some time.

Do any of you Torontonians know any good seamstresses that may be able to make me slip covers for cheap? Or any suggestions? I want it to be cost effective, but more importantly I want the quality to be great- so any ideas are much appreciated.

Orange you glad I didn't say Banana?

Recently we purchased these chairs from one on my friends Shannon from the blog 8 Foot 6. What do you think? I really love the orange but I think I would like to get them reupholstered in maybe a striped fabric, something more subdued- because although I really love all of the color, I think it is just too much. Oh yes, and I think I would stain them a darker color- or paint black... Thoughts?

I also rearranged the book case so that I wasn't color blocking the books. I am into a cleaner look lately.

And how precious is Brucey sleeping on one of our new Loubella from Etsy pillows??? We just ordered another from her- check out her stuff here.
