Moving on Up

Okay, so it has been a long time since I have sat down to blog, but I have been really busy!!! Here is what has been going on: A few weeks ago found out that we had to look for a new place, as our landlord is moving back, so after the initial terror of the situation went by, excitement set in! After living in Toronto for close to a year now, we were excited about the possibility of moving somewhere outside our bubble, know as King West. After a few failed attempts to find the right place we came across this place in Cabbagetown, and instantly fell in love! After waiting patiently we found out that we got the place, and when I say "patiently" I mean we were actually nervous wrecks!! We are so in love with the new place, it is a complete contrast to our current digs. We will no longer be in an apartment building, but we will be in a house, we have two floors, and lots of room! I can't wait for Bruce to see it, he will love it!! Here are some pictures- we move in June 15th, I am counting down the days. This apartment has been really good to us this past year but it is time to say Sayonara!!

So that is an update of what has been going on!!!!

Always Stay Graceful,

L.

  4. I was wondering where you were! The new place looks gorgeous! I lived in Cabbagetown when I first moved to Toronto (16 years ago!) and I loved it - so close to the Don Valley and Riverdale farm, lots of great little restaurants (House on Parliament = best pub!), easy access to Danforth and downtown. It's a wonderful neighbourhood. Totally different from King West but only in a good way! Good luck with your move!
