The other day while walking down Queen Street West a friend and we encountered this talented Artist at the Katharine Mulherin Gallery. I have yet to see someone who painted figures like this, so we instantly became intrigued! The figures are a blast from the past, tasteful with a hint of kitsch, and a definite return to a childhood circa 1950... Most if not all of her paintings showcased are done in acrylic & oil, and they almost look like old photographs. Wouldn't it be cool to get your portrait done in that style?
