They called Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen the "Hooligan of English Fashion", he always had an air of fun and humour in all of his designs but a sophistication that allured the eye of the elite. It was said that he once wrote an obscenity within a formal jacket he had been creating for Prince Charles-what cheek! Learning his craft on Savile Row in London as well as the prestigious design school of London Central Saint Martins Academy of Arts and Design. Nee Lee Alexander McQueen in Hackney, London, he was very close to his mother who recently passed as well as fashion stylist Isabella Blow whom he was said to be very close with and credits the beginning of his career to her. The fashion community will mourn this passing as well as fashion lovers all over the world. Nobody could possibly replace his cheeky sense of artistry, this is truly a sad day.
