Saturday at the Movies

So today its raining in Montreal! Yuck, so uninspiring... Thank god for movies, I decided to get in bed eat some cupcakes, and watch some good flicks. First on the agenda was 'The Beach". I saw this movies many years ago so I thought that I would refresh my memory. The scenery is absolutely stunning wow! There is a good message behind it, but I think I just wasn't really in the mood. Second was "Chasing Amy", haven't seen this one yet so we shall see!! I will let you know what I think! There is this great website called www.rottentomatoes.com and I checked out the rating there first and it got 9.1/10- I have high hopes!!
Also before I go to watch my movie I wanted to list my ten fave romantic comedies. Who agrees with me/or what are yours?

1. When Harry Met Sally
2. Chocolat
3. The Mirror Has Two Faces
4. Bridget Jones's Diary
5. Sleepless in Seattle
6. Notting Hill
7. Love Actually
8. You've Got Mail
9. The Way We Were
10. Sabrina(with Audrey Hepburn)
*11. Moonstruck (f0r Goodluck)

Stay Graceful,

  1. I agree with 1, 2, 7, 10. I would add Roman Holiday and Amelie. :)

  2. love actually - definately. Also I love the way we were (Robert Redford such a fox!), but it's not really a comedy. More like a romantic nothing works out in the end movie, even so I still love it.

I would also have to add The Princess Bride to the list. SOO good!

  3. Hey Evil!! So true it isn't a comedy!! I will replace that in that case with The Holiday, and I love the Princess Bride too- just watched that two days ago actually!!

  4. I love my Best Friends Wedding- Julia Roberts is so good in romantic comedies! She will star in another one soon based on the famous book- Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert...
