Art Giveaway

Woo, this week is just flying by! I wanted to thank you all for sticking by me for the past few years! Gracefully Searching has truly been a labour of love, it has been a huge learning curve for me, and has created so many fabulous opportunities! Outside of the blog, Elle & Be Cinematography (the wedding cinematography company Blayre and I have) has really taken off, we have been able to work with lots of amazing clients, and LCD Design has had many learning experiences as well. Through Gracefully Searching, I have made lots of great relationships, learnt so much about relationships, design, and that really is a source of support especially when you move cities like we did about 3 years ago.

I feel like there have been so many successes recently I wanted to give back to you guys! Not to get all craft corner on you all, butI am giving away a piece of art. That I will custom make for you!

Like the image I posted the other day of my "Mock up- Pollock" art(above), I will customize a piece of art for you. You just tell me the color scheme you would like to work with and size that would work in your space and I will custom create it for you! What do you think??

This is the frame size I would suggest:

It is 8 1/2 x 11"

Width: 20 1/2"
Height: 28 1/4"
Picture, width: 19 3/4"
Picture, height: 27 1/2"
Mat inside W: 15 1/4"
Mat inside H: 19 1/4"

(this is based on this Ribba frame from Ikea, so you can easily frame it for your space)
Here's how to Enter:

#1- Leave a Comment telling me the color palette you would like to use in your custom piece of art.
#2- Become a follower of Gracefully Searching (or must already be one)
or
Follow me on my Facebook page(make sure to leave a comment though so I know who you are!!)

**#'s 1&2  must both be completed**

The winner will be drawn next Thursday April 11th, 2013. I will contact you, and post here on the blog, then I will send to you by mail.

** Must be in Canada or the U.S to participate due to shipping fees**

Hey Everyone! I don't know about you, but I cannot wait till spring. Recently the weather has been playing tricks on me, it gets really beautiful for a day or so, then reverts back to winter! So I have been getting all pumped up for the nice weather ahead by adding spring pieces to my closet.

I have been finding so many great things at Joe Fresh lately, and I know I have been taking about them like crazy but seriously if you live in Canada and there is one close to you, GO- you will not regret it. Not only are the prices incredible, but you will be completely inspired for the warm weather that is (hopefully) just around the corner.

*On a side note, I never ever saw the day that I would ever wear white pants - So I guess that means I am super pumped for Spring and Summer!!

Are there any pieces that you can't wait to wear?? I can't wait to wear this outfit with a trench, and high heeled wedges!!

Contest- Win a Design Board

For some time now I have been building my portfolio through working on interiors and creating online mood boards for clients! I would like to offer one of my readers the opportunity to work with me so we can create the space of your dreams!

Here are the Contest Rules & Regs:

1. You must be a follower of My Blog: gracefullysearching.blogspot.com

2. Leave a comment telling me which room/area of your home you would like to have a mood board created for and why.

3. After the winner is selected, a floor plan, moodboard, and list of all the sources will be provided.

4. There will be an opportunity to discuss the options I have selected over the phone/Skype, and if you are in the Toronto area we can do some shopping for your space- so this is somewhat multifaceted! We will also discuss budget and all items chosen will be selected with availability/accessibility of client in mind.

5. The winner will be drawn next Friday March 9th, 2012

Previous Work:

We purchased the console and stools for this space, them I created this mood board

Still need to find the right piece of art work

1st Mood Board provided to Client

Pictures of the progression- were getting there, piece by piece- it is going to look gorgeous when we are done!

Through the process we will work together to add/remove items from the board and your space, until it becomes completely tailored to you. We can also find solutions to repurpose, and reuse existing pieces in your home to save costs.

I am so excited for the opportunity to get to know my readers more, and see your homes- please send me pictures too if you are interested in working on future projects together!

Always Stay Graceful,

L.
